Danny retired from National Steel in River Rouge after 32 years.  He was a union representative and set on the Safety Commission for National Steel.  After retiring in Michigan and moving to Morehead, he worked for the Rowan County Sheriff's Office as a Court Security Officer. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Stevens. He previously served on the City Council in River Rouge, Michigan and for several years he served on the Board of Trustees at the Clearfield Tabernacle.
